A deserved honor for a well loved Bruin. When the Bruins first got him and a 1st round pick (which turned out to be Glen Wesley) for beloved Barry Pederson, I asked my roomate at the time (a NY Rangers fan from Long Island) who in the world was Cam Neely. After about 2 games of watching him play, you knew he was something special. Dennis Leary described him as a combination of Terry O'Reilly and Bobby Orr in 1 player. His great series vs. Montreal in 88 when the Bruins finally beat Montreal (after being smoked by Montreal for 40 + year a la the Sox vs. Yankees. His amazing Body Checks back in the Gaahden. His phenomanal 50 goals in 44 games in 93-94 (when he had to skip a lot of games and couldn't practice due to his knee). This guy could closest be compared to Carlton Fisk circa 74-79. I still remember tearing up   when he retired..... Congrats Cam, your 10 years in Boston was amazing. :D

Man, its great to bring back some great hockey talk, thanks - #8. I love hockey and will proudly support hockey/NHL now and forever. After saying that, Cam Neely made hockey "so much fun" as a Bruins fan, thanks again #8. To me, just the tought of Cam coming back to the Garden this year will make me be the first in line to buy tickets. Hockey and Neely RULE! And this will give hockey a heartbeat. Lets settle the agreements and bring back the game that is loved for its sport. Neely, Neely, Neely! P.S. This day and everyday, I can't wait to see another player like Cam Neely, even thou that day might never come.
