Has anyone else been paying attention to the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement story that's been going on recently? I know it's been shaping up for a while, but it's interesting that most of the problems seem to come from the inability to get all the owners on the same page, and not owner-players union disagreements. In the last decade, the NFL has become the model for parity in professional sports, and now that may all come crashing down if they don't see eye-to-eye soon. I guess it just goes to show how difficult the model can be to maintain. I know I've heard some advocate having MLB follow a similar model, but I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it would be to get everyone on the same page then! | ||||||||
