Hey Gang!!! So, WHO among us is PSYCHED about tonight's season premiere of 24??? I'm counting down the minutes. CANNOT wait!!!! Seems the way it goes is that it's been 2 years since Jack was captured by the Chinese. The new President is Palmer's SON, Wayne. Interesting. What I don't know is whether or not we've seen the last of last seaon's prez (can't remember that spineless guy's name.) The ACTOR, however, did a GREAT job in portraying that horrible president. And Jean Smart was FANTASTIC as the first lady. Loved her to death!!!! I'll be out of town for tomorrow night's 2 hour episode and won't be able to see it, but I WILL be taping it so I can see it when I DO get back home in about a week or so. In fact, if I'm not home by the FOLLOWING Monday, I may have THREE hours of 24 waiting for me. My husband and I are BOTH on the edges of our seats just WAITING for the new season to begin. Anyone else??? Robin

The premier was great, and I'm excited to see the next two hours tonight. Oh, and just to clarify, Wayne Palmer is David Palmer's younger brother, not his son. His son, Keith, was a key part of Season 1. For some reason, I just have this creepy feeling that Jack's going to bite the bullet this season and the reigns will be passed, but I hope not. Jack Bauer is 24!

Hey Guru!!! Yep, I goofed up. Wayne is David's brother, not his son. Don't know what the heck made me think that. Now that the season is fully underway, I too have a feeling this could be the last season. Jack has just about had it, and when he discovers his own father's involvement, I think he'll resign from CTU. I mean, my God, how much can one man take??? What Morris went through last week was horrendous, and did you see the look on Jack's face??? He looked mighty ticked off to say the least, that Morris caved in. (Poor Morris). That was ONE time, I could NOT look. My husband looked, but I just could not. I think Jack, however, did finally understand why Morris caved in, but I think he lost some respect for him. Now we can only speculate as to what Jack went through at the hands of the Chinese, but because we didn't actually SEE, or HEAR it, it sort of falls flat. With Morris, we saw and heard the horror and torture he had to endure. I absolutely hate Jack's father who will think nothing of killing his own VERY innocent grandson. Sick S.O.B. But GREAT show!!! Earlier in the day, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh. Turns out there's a big to-do about the violence on "24". The media is making a big stink about it and the shows' producer I think is the guy who said they'd "tone down" the violence. (Give me a break!!!) Now, I'm not one to advocate violence and torture, but it IS a NECESSARY part of THIS particular TV show. Coming from me, that's a HUGE statement, because I've got to be the most mild mannered, anti-violent person you'll ever know. However, those awful scenes ARE an integral part of showing what the enemy can and WILL do. So there's my take, and my rant. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this is NOT Jack Bauer's "swan song". Good talking with you Guru. Enjoy the rest of the season. We sure will on this end. Robin

I returned to viewing this year after not watching since the 2nd half of Season 3. Story is as inplausible as ever but entertaining. I missed ten minutes this week and President Palmer went from Comatose and Crashing to Ordering the Vice President to stand down on his Nuclear Attack. Somebody needs to sedate the VP pronto. I expect he will comandeer a Nuclear Sub in the near future. Talk about trigger happy.
