    Any LOST Fans?

Just wondering if anyone else here is a fan of LOST.  I have to admit that in the last year, I got addicted.  Maybe that had something to do with my watching the complete first two seasons in about two weeks time, but I love the secrecy and storytelling of the show.

However, these long hiatuses (like with 24) are killing me!

Huge, huge fan.  One of my favorite shows on TV.  I got into it a bit late too, which I think is the way to do it.  I hear that the people who were in it from day one started to get sick of the twists and turns the show has taken in the past 2 years.  I, for one, love it.  I mean, you can't do Tom Hanks on an island with a volleyball for 6 season, just doesn't work.  So they had to take the story to this crazy level, and I can't get enough.

Who is in the coffin !!!???

Is Jack's father really dead !!!???

What is going on with that crazy black smoke monster thingie !!!??

Who was on the other end of that satellite phone ????

So crazy.

I've been there since day 1 and I love Lost. I have not gotten sick of anything and I love the mystery. The season 3 finale was amazing TV. Charlie was a great character. Not sure if you guys heard that there will be only 3 more seasons of Lost (each with only 16 episodes. Here is some of it. "In a potentially paradigm-shifting play, ABC has agreed to let the producers of "Lost" set an expiration date for the series -- three years in the future. Skein will now wrap after the production of 48 additional episodes that will be divided into three, shortened 16-episode seasons. Final episode -- the show's 119th -- will air during the 2009-10 season. In conjunction with the advance order, "Lost" showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have inked hefty new multi-year overall deals with ABC Television Studio to continue with the series until the end. Duo had made setting a wrap date for the show a condition for staying. Lindelof and Cuse had wanted "Lost" to end after two more seasons. They're essentially still getting their wish: The 48 episodes they'll produce over the next three years is the same number the show produced during its first two seasons. ABC execs, however, came up with a way to keep "Lost" on its sked for three more seasons. What's more, the 16-episode arcs will run without repeats (a la "24"), allowing the Alphabet to make the show more of an event." Here is the URL for the whole article.......... http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117964371.html?categoryid=14&cs=1 I think that this is a wise decision. One of my favorite all time shows was Babylon 5 and it was planned to last 5 years. Best Sci Fi show since the original Star Trek.

Yea SRYD, I read that about the end of last season.  I typically keep an eye on Lostpedia, and I had heard that they had been negotiating with the network for a while about wrapping things up before they got too drawn out, and I think they came to a good agreement.  While I'd like to see 3 more seasons of around 24 episodes, I'll live with the bunches of 16 (as long as they stay good).
