Tourney time is here... in about 15 min things get under way. What a great time to love sports! March Madness, spring training baseball, nhl and nba getting closer to the playoffs. Too bad my coyotes are gonna miss the playoffs again (haven't been there since 2002, but its ok, youngest team in the nhl, so there is hope). So the reason I decided to make this post... March Madness. UNC is the favorite and I like them to win it all. Their region isn't as easy as everyone thinks, I think ND will give them a run for their money. I would really like to see the great white hype match-up in tyler hansbrough and luke harangody. But I think UNC wins the East, beating Tennessee to make it to the final 4. In the Midwest, I like Georgetown to knock off Kansas. Kansas is the buffalo bills of college basketball, good team, solid organization, just can't win when it matters. The curse of danny manning lives on (I'm making up that curse and hope it sticks). I really wanna pick Pitt to knock of Memphis in the south, but I just don't see it happening. I like Memphis to knock off Texas in houston to make it to the final 4 for coach John Calipari. A guy I would love to see going home early in the tourney, just because he tried to make UMass seem like more of a power than UConn... fortunately he realized that it couldn't be done and went to conference usa. The west where my beloved huskies are and I hope to see them in the sweet 16 in person (it's in phoenix). I would love to go with the homer pick but I think the huskies peaked in early February. The pick is UCLA over Duke. Also for anyone interested, I got the Duke basketball camp flyer. http://www.threeteamparlay.com/dukefloppingcamp.pdf I hate Duke... a lot. So that gives me a final 4 of UNC vs Georgetown and UCLA vs Memphis. I think we'll see another great white hype match-up in the final with UNC vs UCLA. I just like the overall talent of UNC vs UCLA (can't play the east coast bias here folks; Iâ€™m in PAC 10 country out here). Hansbrough just seems to get the job done, and I see the Tar Heels catching up to UConn with their second National Title in the last decade. Hopefully I'm wrong and UConn goes on an unreal run and wins the championship convincingly. Take care everyone and let the madness begin!!!

It is a great time of the year...and the reason why I'm working at home today and tomorrow!

Like my brother (GUnit14), I'd love to see the Huskies go far, but my expectations aren't too high for them. However, I see UCLA bringing home this year's title.
