    25 man roster after Japan?

Assuming that the Sox go with 12 pitchers Starters(4): Matsusaka, Wakefield, Lester, Buchholz Relievers(8): Papelbon, Okajima, Lopez, Delcarmen, Timlin, Snyder, Corey, and Tavrez. When Becket comes off the DL(Hopefully before the Toronto Series), someone has to go. (Snyder, Corey, and Tavarez all have no options to the minors left). Buchholz could go to AAA, but that means Snyder or Tavarez is the 5th starter), Also a decision will loom with Colon (by May 1, I assume). Colon's Contract (signed minor league deal worth $108K for 2008 season on 2/24/08- + he receives a $1.25M salary while in the majors- + he can earn $5.75M in performance bonuses for reaching 30 starts while in the majors) Position Players: 13 Catchers(2) Varitek and Cash Infielders (7) Ortiz, Youkilis, Pedroia, Lugo, Lowell, Cora, Casey Outfielders (4) Ramirez, Drew, Crisp, and Ellsbury I don't see how they keep Kielty if there are no injuries and only 13 positions. I think Moss is here if Crisp gets dealt. Can they trade Drew? (LOL)

Well, they demoted Moss before they even got on the plane back.  Hopefully they can figure out what to do with Crisp soon.  I don't think he'll cause trouble like Payton did before he was traded to Oakland a few years ago, but I don't want to hear people calling for Crisp if Ellsbury struggles early on with regular play like Pedroia did last year.  He may need some time to get up to speed, but I'm confidend he'll get there by the ASB.
